Victoria Horticultural Society Special Presentation: Ground Covers with Gary Lewis

The Victoria Horticultural Society will meet on Nov 7, 2023, from 7:30 - 9:00 pm. at the Garth Homer Centre (813 Darwin Ave).    Our speaker is Gary Lewis, owner of Phoenix Perennials in Richmond, BC..   He will offer a companion talk to his recent book, “The Complete Talk on Ground Covers: Plants that reduce maintenance, control erosion, improve the environment, and beautify the landscape.”  He will highlight the functional and aesthetic uses of ground covers, including diverse ways ground covers can make gardens more sustainable.
